Your contribution will be essential to ensuring projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and to the client's satisfaction, supporting the continued growth and success of the business.Location&nbsp;4 Alma Road, Wollert, VIC 3750Reporting To&nbsp;The Position Reports to Director&nbsp;Working HoursFull Time Position 38 hours per week&nbsp;&nbsp; <h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience along with 12% superannuation.</li><li>Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.</li><li>Health insurance.</li><li>Paid time off and holidays.</li></ul>&nbsp; <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Erect and safely use access equipment, including ladders and scaffolding, and protect surrounding areas with coverings to prevent paint damage and maintain a clean worksite.</li><li>Prepare surfaces for finishing by removing deteriorated coatings, stripping wall coverings, repairing minor surface imperfections, and applying fillers or sealants where required.</li><li>Measure, prepare, and blend paints and coatings to achieve specified colours, textures, and finishes in accordance with project requirements.</li><li>Apply decorative and protective coatings to internal and external surfaces using a range of application methods and equipment, ensuring a high-quality finish.</li><li>Install and finish wallpaper and other wall coverings, ensuring accurate positioning, pattern matching, and neat trimming.</li><li>Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas by cleaning and storing materials appropriately after completion of tasks</li><li>Carry out minor maintenance and repair work associated with painting projects, including replacing damaged glazing and repairing window components when required.</li><li>Undertake basic tiling repairs and installations, ensuring wall and floor tiles are correctly positioned, level, and securely fixed.</li><li>Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, client expectations, and project specifications.</li><li>Follow workplace health and safety requirements and use materials, tools, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.</li></ul>&nbsp; <h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Certificate III in Painting and Decorating, or equivalent trade qualification</li><li>Minimum 1+ year of painting experience preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the painting industry.</li><li>Proven experience as a painter or in a similar role.</li><li>Familiarity with various painting techniques, tools, and materials.</li><li>Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.</li><li>Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.</li><li>Ability to read and follow instructions and specifications.</li></ul>&nbsp;
