This is a permanent, full-time position.&nbsp;Our workshop which specializes in the repair of all types of hydraulic products. Long established company, well known in the industry as a leader in the repair of large bore, long stroke cylindersThe successful applicant’s duties will include:<ul><li>Setting up and operating lathes, milling machines, drills, grinders</li><li>Disassembling and assembling hydraulic equipment including Hydraulic Cylinders, Pumps, Motors and Valves</li></ul>To qualify this position, you will have:<ul><li>AQF Certificate III in Engineering Trade, or equivalent or relevant experience&nbsp;</li><li>At least 5 years of relevant experience&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications</li><li>Proven workshop experience in turning, milling, polishing and linishing</li><li>Working to fine tolerances</li></ul>Experience in the&nbsp;assembly, installation, maintenance, fitting and repair of mechanical components<ul><li>Remuneration/Salary - $75,000 - $85,000 per annum</li></ul>Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. The store person is there to assist as needed. Together, make sure the necessary materials are available to start each job on time.&nbsp;</li><li>Talk to production manager if extra tooling or machines are required as per the work requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for working out of extra help/operator(s) required to get each job done by the due date and discuss this with the production manager.&nbsp;</li><li>Using the wood cutting machines for cutting, moulding, shaping, and sanding of wood articles.&nbsp;</li><li>Setting up of machines and wood stock for accurate cutting, shaping, and sanding of wood pieces.&nbsp;</li><li>For restoring the old wood pieces, remove the finishing with sandpaper, steel wool or glass paper. Also, by using the paint stripper.&nbsp;</li><li>Using varnish, shellac, lacquer, stains, and wood paint to polish and waxing finished products.&nbsp;</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>AQF certificate III with on-job two years’ experience or certificate IV in related field or three years of relevant experience.&nbsp;</li><li>At least 2 years of experience in the similar position.</li><li>You must have full-time work rights in Australia.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow all OHS procedures and policies.</li><li>Strong organization and time management skill</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Team player</li></ul>
