Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled and analytical&nbsp;Computer Engineer&nbsp;to join our growing team in New South Wales.The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing, configuring, integrating, testing, monitoring and maintaining computer systems and network infrastructure that support telecommunications operations.&nbsp;The role requires a strong understanding of both computer-based systems and telecommunications environments, with a focus on improving system performance, reliability and operational efficiencyKey Responsibilities:<ul><li>Analysing operational and technical requirements and preparing computer systems and network specifications;</li><li>Configuring, testing, monitoring and maintaining computer systems used to support telecommunications infrastructure;</li><li>Developing and implementing automated processes for fault analysis, record validation and technical reporting;</li><li>Analysing operational data received from HFC network elements, computer-based monitoring platforms and approved testing devices;</li><li>Diagnosing and rectifying system faults, configuration issues and data inconsistencies;</li><li>Supporting the integration of network systems, field-testing tools, monitoring platforms and asset databases;</li><li>Assisting with the configuration, testing, monitoring and maintenance of the NBN ONFA rack, drawing upon his previous experience working with this equipment;</li><li>Supporting fault identification, equipment commissioning, system upgrades and equipment migrations associated with the NBN ONFA rack;</li><li>Preparing technical documentation, test results, configuration records and systems records; and</li><li>Recommending improvements to computer systems, network infrastructure and operational processes.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Relevant qualification in computer engineering, information technology, network engineering or a related field</li><li>Demonstrated experience in configuring, testing, monitoring and maintaining computer and network systems</li><li>Experience supporting systems used in telecommunications, network operations or infrastructure environments</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose faults and recommend effective technical solutions</li><li>Knowledge of telecommunications-related systems and infrastructure, including HFC, fibre, CMTS, RF or optical equipment, will be highly regarded</li><li>Experience with automation, system reporting, record validation or technical data analysis will be advantageous</li><li>Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into system configurations and operational improvements</li><li>Strong communication and documentation skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Full-time, permanent position</li><li>Competitive salary plus superannuation</li><li>Opportunity to work on essential telecommunications infrastructure projects</li><li>Supportive and inclusive team culture</li><li>Ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>Opportunity to contribute to system improvement and innovation in a growing business</li></ul>How to Apply:Please send your resume and a cover letter detailing your suitability for the role
