PURPOSE OF THE POSITION&nbsp;To assist the pharmacist in the accurate preparation, dispensing, and management of medications while ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards and providing efficient patient-focused pharmacy support services.&nbsp;RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="text-align:justify;">Referring prescriptions to the supervising Pharmacist and actively assisting in the preparation of both standard and customised medications in accordance with dispensing protocols.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Filling and labelling patients' prescriptions accurately under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist, ensuring all dispensing and cautionary labels comply with regulatory and pharmacy standards.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Recording details of all medications and medical supplies dispensed, placing orders for stock replenishment, taking stock of existing inventory, storing medications under appropriate conditions, and delivering them to patients as required.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Compounding customised non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations — including creams, ointments, capsules, troches, suspensions — under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist and in strict accordance with master formulation records and standard operating procedures.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Accurately weighing, measuring, and combining pharmaceutical ingredients using calibrated compounding equipment such as scales, homogenizers, encapsulation machines, and laminar flow hoods to produce compounded preparations to the required specification.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Performing in-process quality checks on compounded batches, verifying calculations on compounding log sheets, and documenting batch numbers, lot details, expiry dates, and compounding procedures to maintain a complete and accurate audit trail.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Managing stock levels and inventory in the pharmacy and compounding laboratory, including monitoring and recording quantities of chemicals, consumables, and raw materials, and initiating procurement when stock falls below required thresholds.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Assisting with medication audits, reports, and reviews by collating dispensing records, compounding logs, and stock data to support the Pharmacist in identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare standards.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Supporting clinical Pharmacists in their routine work, including screening patients, gathering relevant medication histories, and collating clinical information required for Pharmacist review and patient counselling.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of the compounding laboratory and cleanroom environment, including the regular cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of work surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with USP and workplace health and safety requirements.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications and Skills :Minimum qualification required is&nbsp;AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma, or at least three years of experience with 1 years mandatory work experience .In the absence of qualification, 3 years of relevant experience is required.Applicant should possess following skills<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="text-align:justify;">Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Ability to analyse data, solve problems, and make informed decisions</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Strong client engagement skills.</li></ul>&nbsp;
