We are seeking a passionate and qualified Child Care Worker &nbsp;to join our dynamic team!As a Child Care Worker, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of young children while ensuring their wellbeing and development. <h3>Benefits</h3>AU$ 75,000 – 85,000 + superannuation <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3>As a full-time Child Care Worker, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>Assisting in planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).</li><li>Providing direct care and supervision to support children’s social, emotional, and physical development in a nurturing environment.</li><li>Supporting the lead educator in implementing daily routines and activities within your designated room.</li><li>Observing and documenting children's behaviour and progress to assist with planning group activities and learning opportunities.</li><li>Building warm, supportive relationships with children, families, and team members to create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.</li><li>Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children by maintaining a clean, hygienic, and stimulating environment.</li><li>Following Centre policies and procedures to meet National Quality Standards and support regulatory compliance.</li><li>Participating in staff meetings and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in childcare practices.</li><li>Assisting children with challenging behaviours using positive and age-appropriate strategies under the guidance of senior staff.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3>The minimum requirements for the position are:<ul><li>A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher qualification).</li><li>At least 12 months of proven experience working with children aged 0-6 years in an early childhood education setting.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of educators.</li><li>Current Working with Children Check.</li><li>First aid qualification, including CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis management.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standards, and relevant regulations.</li></ul>
