This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who is ready to start immediately and is committed to delivering high-quality work.<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Responsible for painting the exterior and interior areas of the assigned projects</li><li>Set up scaffolding, ladders, and protective coverings to ensure the work area is safe and clean</li><li>Remove old paint and wallpaper</li><li>Repair and prepare surfaces by fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces</li><li>Mix and prepare paints to achieve the desired colour and consistency</li><li>Apply paints, varnishes, and stains to various surfaces using appropriate tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprays</li><li>Hang wallpaper, ensuring patterns match and edges are trimmed neatly</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas by cleaning tools and disposing of waste properly</li><li>Assist in storing leftover paint in the appropriate locations</li></ul>&nbsp;Relevant QualificationRelevant Certificate III or IV qualification&nbsp;Relevant ExperiencePlus 2 years relevant experienceOR&nbsp;3 years relevant experience in substitute to the qualification&nbsp;Skills Required<ul><li>Proven experience as a painter (inc. in Australia)</li><li>Relevant qualification or trade certificate in painting and decorating</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Good understanding of safety and OH&amp;S standards</li><li>Availability to commence work immediately</li><li>White Card and valid driver’s licence.</li></ul>
