Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Inspect food items to ensure high quality and freshness standards</li><li>Monitor and control temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment</li><li>Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes</li><li>Season food appropriately during the cooking process</li><li>Portion meals, plate dishes, and add sauces, gravies, and garnishes</li><li>Store food in appropriate temperature-controlled environments</li><li>Prepare meals according to dietary and special requirements</li><li>Assist in menu planning and estimating food requirements</li><li>Supervise and train kitchen staff and apprentices as required</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>AQF Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery</li><li>Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Cook, preferably in a similar restaurant environment</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail and food safety standards</li><li>Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply</li></ul>

You will be reporting to the Director.Role: MANUFACTURERANZSCO code: 133411Postcode: 6107 <h3>Benefits</h3>Full time, salaried position, 38 hours per week, 5 days/week.Annual Salary: $80k + Superannuation. <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Spotting growth opportunities within the pasta manufacturing market, designing new production methods and determining the range of pasta products to be produced&nbsp;</li><li>Formulating business strategies and executing procedures across operations, sales, workforce management and product pricing&nbsp;</li><li>Investigating and applying legislative and regulatory obligations relevant to food manufacturing operations and environmental compliance&nbsp;</li><li>Directing the activities of production lines, storage facilities, distribution channels and other operational departments&nbsp;</li><li>Establishing and upholding quality assurance standards across pasta production, waste management, delivery logistics and related procedures&nbsp;</li><li>Managing procurement of raw ingredients, packaging materials and equipment, and coordinating product packaging, dispatch and wholesale distribution&nbsp;</li><li>Overseeing after-sales support and customer service coordination&nbsp;</li><li>Reviewing and approving quotations for custom or specialised pasta products and negotiating supply contracts with wholesale and retail customers&nbsp;</li><li>Designing and monitoring production run schedules to meet order volumes and delivery timelines</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3>Qualification requirement: A relevant Bachelor Degree. At least 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.&nbsp;Work experience requirement: The successful applicant will have at least 1 year of full-time work experience as a manufacturer.
